Having an established provider allows you the possibility to see a provider within a smaller window of time for any of your acute illnesses. It is recommended for everyone to have a preventative care visit yearly.

Nevada Orthopedic and Spine Center’s Fast Track Clinic
Copay: $30 for Signature Plan members
Come to the Fast Track Clinic if you have a bone, joint, or muscle injury that occurred within the past few days. A member of the Fast Track Clinic will examine you, order x-rays if needed, provide a diagnosis, and treat your specific injury.

Emergency rooms should only be used for life-threatening emergencies. Emergency room visits are subject to the deductible and incur the ER copay + 20% of all associated doctor bills. THT members can save over $600 by going to urgent care or a provider’s office.

Behavioral Health
Seeking behavioral health is just as essential as seeing a provider when you don’t feel well. You can utilize mental health for short-term struggles or long-term needs.

A psychiatric consultation is also available through MDLive, which is a comprehensive evaluation of the psychological, biological, medical and social causes of emotional distress. This service is offered to members ages 10+.
CCSD Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), you have a total of 5 free visits per year for you, your spouse, or your children under age 26 (even if they are not enrolled dependents on your THT plan). The 5 available visits reset each year on January 1.
Call (702) 243-4682 to open an EAP case, speak with a trained specialist, and get connected with a local provider that specializes in your needs. The specialist can also schedule your first appointment on your behalf. Note: not all EAP providers are regular in-network providers. If you intend to continue care after the 5 free visits, we recommend confirming with the provider that they are in-network.
